80+ communities across the United States joined in a national conversation on China sponsored by the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations. The event featured an interactive webcast with Ambassador Susan Rice, and an on-site discussion with Georgetown Initiative for U.S.-China Dialogue Managing Director Dennis Wilder and McDonough School of Business McCrane/Shaker Chair in International Business J. Bradford Jensen on "U.S.-China Relations in an Uncertain International Environment."

Ambassador Susan Rice served President Barack Obama as national security advisor and U.S. permanent representative to the United Nations. In her role as national security advisor from 2013 to 2017, Ambassador Rice led the National Security Council staff and chaired the Cabinet-level National Security Principals Committee.

J. Bradford Jensen is the McCrane/Shaker Chair in International Business at the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University, a senior fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics, and a research associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research.

Dennis Wilder is the managing director for the Initiative for U.S.-China Dialogue on Global Issues at Georgetown University, where he also serves as an assistant professor of practice in Asian studies in the Walsh School of Foreign Service.
