Opportunities and Challenges for Multinational Companies in China amidst a Changing World
A Conversation with Eric Zheng
活动系列: 其他项目活动
China remains one of the world’s most important markets, while multinational companies are operating in an increasingly complex environment shaped by changing economic conditions, intensifying market competition, evolving regulations, and developments in U.S.-China economic and trade relations. Drawing on key findings from the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai’s 2026 China Business Report and the Chamber’s engagement with member companies and government stakeholders, Chamber president Eric Zheng (B'99, P'26) will share an on-the-ground perspective on how multinational companies are navigating challenges, pursuing opportunities, and adapting their strategies in China, as well as what these trends may mean for the future of U.S.-China economic and commercial relations.
This event is co-sponsored by Georgetown University’s Initiative for U.S.-China Dialogue on Global Issues and the Asian Studies Program at the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service.
