美中全球议题对话项目

美中学生对话项目旨在为乔治城大学学生与中国大学学生进行交流、讨论影响中美关系的关键问题提供平台。

The program engages Georgetown students with peers, scholars, policymakers, and businesspeople in China through virtual and in-person dialogues. During the 2024-2025 academic year, the initiative sponsored two dialogues with Peking University and Tsinghua University, beginning with virtual sessions and culminating in face-to-face meetings in Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong.

Launched during the COVID-19 pandemic, the inaugural cohort of 15 Georgetown students participated in virtual dialogues with students from Fudan University, Peking University, and Zhejiang University during the spring 2021 semester. The virtual dialogues continued into the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 academic years, seeking to maintain connections between U.S. and Chinese students amidst a period of strained international educational exchanges. During the 2023-2024 academic year, the program hosted a yearlong, multilevel dialogue culminating in an in-person trip to Hong Kong and Shenzhen in May 2024.
