The 2021-2023 U.S.-China Virtual Student Dialogues were a series of dialogues engaging Georgetown University students with students from elite Chinese universities to exchange perspectives on substantive global issues.

Launched during the COVID-19 pandemic, the virtual dialogues sought to maintain connections between U.S. and Chinese students amidst a period of strained international educational exchange. An inaugural cohort of 15 Georgetown students participated in three virtual dialogues with students from Fudan University, Peking University, and Zhejiang University during the spring 2021 semester. During the 2021-2022 academic year, the initiative organized student dialogues with Peking University and Fudan University for candid discussions on global governance and people-to-people diplomacy. During the 2022-2023 academic year, the initiative brought students together from Georgetown and Peking University to explore topics on the role of the United States and China in advancing global development.
