This seminar explored the international implications of an evolving China. President Xi has declared that China is in a "new era" and is "moving to the center of the world stage," but what does this mean for the world order? Ryan Hass, a U.S. Sinologist with experience on the National Security Council, the U.S. Embassy Beijing, and the Department of State, provided an initial look at this question.
The event was co-sponsored by the Initiative for U.S.-China Dialogue on Global Issues and the Walsh School of Foreign Service Asian Studies Program.
