Join us for a fireside conversation with Ambassador Lui Tuck Yew, ambassador of the Republic of Singapore to the United States of America, on Singapore’s foreign policy and diplomatic relations. Evan Medeiros will moderate the conversation.

Ambassador Lui Tuck Yew is the current Ambassador of the Republic of Singapore to the United States of America since 2023. Previously, Lui served as Singapore's Ambassador to China between 2019 and 2023, and Ambassador to Japan between 2017 and 2019.
Dr. Evan Medeiros (moderator) is the current director of Asian Studies, Penner Family Chair in Asia Studies in the School of Foreign Service, and a senior fellow with the Initiative for U.S.-China Dialogue on Global Issues at Georgetown University. He previously served for six years on the staff of the National Security Council as director for China, Taiwan and Mongolia, and then as special assistant to the president and senior director for Asia.
