Cindy Wang

Cindy Wang (SFS’21) is a student in the Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, majoring in international political economy and double minoring in German and women and gender studies. She was a 2019-2020 student fellow in the Initiative for U.S.-China Dialogue on Global Issues Student Fellows program.

  • Worked with a feminist NGO in Washington, DC, on economic and entrepreneurship empowerment for women globally.​
  • Competed in debate and serves as the chair of Gender Empowerment Initiative and Equal Opportunity Facilitating Committee for the American Parliamentary Debate Association.
  • Spent a year teaching debate in China and designing debate curriculum for Chinese ESL speakers.
  • Taught debate class at the DC Correctional Center with Georgetown’s Prisons and Justice Initiative.
