Abraham Newman
Georgetown University
Abraham Newman is a professor in the BMW Center for German and European Studies in the School of Foreign Service and the Department of Government in the College of Arts & Sciences. Professor Newman is a co-convener of the Initiative for U.S.-China Dialogue on Global Issues faculty research group on business and trade.
International activities include:
- Author of three books and over 22 articles in scholarly journals and edited volumes.
- Ongoing research projects include Empirical Analysis of Transgovernmental Cooperation and the International Politics of Data Privacy .
- Author of Foreign Affairs article "Privacy Pretense: How Silicon Valley Helped the NSA".
