Xiao Zhiguo
Fudan University
Xiao Zhiguo is an associate professor of statistics and an associate chair of the Department of Statistics, School of Management, Fudan University. His research interests cover large-scale statistical modeling and forecasting, shadow banking and macro economy, and China’s international trade and industrial policy. He is a participant in the Initiative for U.S.-China Dialogue on Global Issues faculty research group on business and trade.
- Serves as the associate dean of the ZEG Institute of Quantitative Finance and Investing of Fudan University, research fellow and associate director of the Center for Complex Decision Analysis, Fudan University, and an adjunct associate professor of the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Hong Kong.
- Member of the Core Expert Working Team of the “Strategic Framework on Measurement of APEC TiVA under GVCs” and principal investigator of the Sino-British joint project “Shadow Banking and Chinese Economy: A Micro to Macro Framework.”
- Received his Ph.D. in statistics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
