Bryan Carapucci

Bryan Carapucci (’20) graduated from the University of Richmond with a double major in history and Chinese studies. He was a 2019-2020 student fellow in the Initiative for U.S.-China Dialogue on Global Issues Student Fellows program.
- Interned for the Department of State in the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs as part of the U.S. Foreign Service Internship Program.
- Conducted research in Taiwan through a fellowship from his university.
- Studied Mandarin Chinese in 2018 under the Critical Language Scholarship in Dalian, China, and also studied abroad in Beijing and Taipei for a summer-long and semester-long program, respectively.
- Wrote his history honors thesis on perceptions of ethnicity and periphery regions during China’s Republican Period.
